Finding a computer notebook is easy, it's making sure it's right for you that is hard! There are so many factors to consider when shopping for a notebook computer that it can get a little overwhelming. 1. Make sure that it is a notebook (laptop) computer that you are looking for and not a desktop computer. the main difference is that the desktop computer is larger and not made for carrying around from place to place, where the laptop or notebook is.

If you are intending to use it for projects or homework assignments, you will need a longer battery life and lighter weight (since you will be carrying it everywhere). If you want it more for home use, like working in different rooms, then weight and portability are not as much a problem. Neither would battery life since you could plug it in most of the time. But you would be concerned with its processing capability and its speed.
3. The last thing you need to think about is the intricate parts of the computer. The memory, processor, RAM, optical drive, data ports, and graphics card will largely effect your computer's capabilities. Most people ignore this step and pay for it later. But if they took the time to Google the parts and understand a basic amount of what the different parts do, they could make informed decisions about the computer they want. With a little patience and some guidance you can easily understand the parts of the computer you want!
